Santiago has 27 years of experience in private banking, asset management and investment banking.

Before joining GBS Finance 14 years ago, he worked at Guggenheim Partners in Madrid and Geneva as Managing Director. He has also been a part of the mergers and acquisitions team at Goldman Sachs, and has worked at Salomon Brothers and Deutsche Bank in New York, managing equity portfolios in emerging markets. He began his professional career at the Bank of Nova Scotia Inverlat in Mexico.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from New York University and a MBA from INSEAD (France).
