We are seeking a talented Associate to join our Bogotá office and support the execution of investment banking advisory mandates, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, restructurings, and capital raising across both equity and debt markets.

 

Main Tasks:

– Support the execution of M&A transactions, divestitures, restructurings, and equity and debt capital raising.

– Analyze detailed corporate and financial information and support due diligence processes.

– Develop financial analyses and models for company valuation, including discounted cash flow, multiples comparable analysis, leveraged buyout (LBO) analyses, among others.

– Prepare commercial proposals to present to potential clients.

– Form and guide a team of analysts, and trainees.

– Manage relationships and lead daily dialogue with clients in the execution of advisory services.

 

Position requirements:

– Degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, finance, or equivalent. Master’s in finance or MBA is a plus.

– At least 4/5 years of previous experience in Investment Banking or equivalent, including M&A sell-side and buy-side processes.

– Experience in team management.

– Excellent oral and written communication skills.

– Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and advanced Excel proficiency.

– Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

– Ability to take on a high level of responsibility.

– Ability to interact directly with clients.

– Advanced level of English.
