Senior Advisor Colombia

Jorge Alberto Jiménez is a Senior Advisor of GBS Finance since 2015.

From 2002 to 2022, he held the position of Executive Chairman at Axión, a leading telecom infrastructure operator in Spain. Prior to that, he held senior roles at the Central Bank of Colombia (Banco de la República), led Bankers Trust’s operations in Colombia, and served as International Vice President at Grupo Bavaria.

Jorge Alberto holds a degree in Economics from Universidad de los Andes, an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master’s in Museum Studies from Harvard University.
