We are looking for a talented Vice President to lead and develop the execution of investment banking advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, restructurings, and the raising of equity and debt capital.
The position is available at our Bogotá office.
Main Tasks:
- Lead and develop M&A transactions, divestitures, restructurings, and equity and debt capital raising.
- Analyze detailed corporate and financial information and perform due diligence processes.
- Develop financial analyses and models for company valuation, including discounted cash flow, comparable analysis, leveraged buyout (LBO) analyses, among others.
- Develop business proposals and ideas to present to clients about potential acquisitions, divestitures, and capital structure alternatives.
- Form and guide a team of associates, analysts, and trainees.
- Manage relationships and lead daily dialogue with clients in the execution of advisory services.
Position requirements:
- Degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, finance, or equivalent. Master’s in finance or MBA is a plus.
- At least 7 years of previous experience in Investment Banking or equivalent, including M&A sell-side and buy-side processes.
- Experience in team management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage advisory services independently and take on a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to interact directly with clients.
- Advanced level of English.
