Capital Markets AV SA, a regulated entity and part of the GBS Finance group, has identified an attempted impersonation involving unauthorized use of our corporate name and the creation of a fraudulent website falsely representing our firm.
We confirm that no breach has occurred within our internal systems or official communication channels. This fraudulent activity has been perpetrated by external actors with the intent to mislead prospective investors or clients.
In response, we have taken the following immediate actions:
- Filed a formal complaint with the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) and relevant law enforcement authorities.
- Activated our internal reputation risk protocols and engaged with cybersecurity specialists to mitigate exposure.
We strongly advise all stakeholders, including clients, partners, and the general public, to:
- Always verify that communications originate from our official channels.
- Refrain from sharing personal information or executing payments when the legitimacy of the contact is uncertain.
