Description
GBS Finanzas acted as financial advisor in the privatization of Aquapor Lusagua, the Portuguese company in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants and other water infrastructure, technical assistance, specialized audits and analytical control, through its sale to the consortium formed by Alexandre Barbosa Borges, S.A., the Portuguese provider of construction services, and Domingo da Silva Teixeira, S.A., the Portuguese company engaged in heavy construction and public work activities, for a total consideration of €62.96m. The divestment is in line with the strategy to privatize Aquapor and to concentrate on its core activity in the existing multimunicipal systems and also the development and implementation of new systems related to wastewater treatment and recovery of urban solid waste.
